Indigo Dye — As mentioned above, traditional Indigo Dye is much darker than the color we tend to think of as indigo. It was originally developed for use with cotton fabric, and the traditional methods of making this dye are still in use today. As a color, Indigo Dye shares the same bold, royal blue appearance as the dried pigment that’s used to make the dye itself.
